What is a hair replacement system?

If you’ve spent time looking for ways to address your baldness and hair loss issues, I’m sure you’ve come across the term Hair Replacement System. I wasn’t sure what it was when I first read the term, but after doing some research, it made sense. It is the new name for an old method of baldness treatment that is making a comeback.

The hair replacement system is the name of a hair piece also called a hairpiece. Toupees were very popular as a method of covering bald spots¬† ¬†hair replacement systems for the past century until the name began to take on a negative connotation. For years, it seems like every comic movie released had a scene where a poor boy was embarrassed that his lock of hair was falling off his head. He usually ate his soup and it either fell out or his hair fell out in the wind or got caught in someone’s umbrella. The time has come when the name Toupee became a joke on its own.

In fact, there was some truth to the hair loss problem. The original method of attachment was by means of a rubber band that was tied to the head. It was known that these slipped off and let the poor man’s hair slip in one way or another.
This fixation problem has now been alleviated with the use of adhesives that can keep the hair strand in the wind or during physical activities. In fact, the new method of securing the strand even allows you to swim and not worry about your hair floating. If you are losing your hair, a hair replacement product may be just what you need as an inexpensive way to get your hair back on your head. They look so real that many men even replace the hairline and then comb their hair back from their foreheads. And nobody knows the difference.
